Vassilis Ziakas is a professional musician, singing and playing accordion and guitar. He has a long experience in cultural events organizing, having participated in the organization of various concerts in Greece and abroad, theatrical events and music festivals.
As about his studies, he is graduate in Business Administration and has a post-graduate Decree in Organizational and economic Psychology.
He has participated in the organization and coordonated himself various projects on culture, linking art and environment, in collaboration with the non governmental organization "Polis - International Network in Environmental Education", based in Greece:
- in 2001, coordinating the participation of POLIS in Entrelacs (Euro-Algerian Interwave) event, organized in Brussels with the support of the European Union, coordinating the greek music group, playing music together with the algerian group;
- in 2003, in the city of Oran, Algeria, coordinating the participation of POLIS music group in a music excange project with local musiscans;
- in 2007-2008, participating in the organization of an itinerary collective art exhibition on environment with the participation artists from Greece, USA and Brazil, that was presented in three towns of Greece, in Paris � France and in Brazil, along with the organization of various parallel events: music show, theatrical representations by children, art workshop for children, etc.
- in 2009-2010, organizing various cultural events related to the project for the creation of educational material by children and artists from 5 countries: children theatrical representations, collective children painting exhibitions, etc.
Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1970 με καταγωγή από την Ήπειρο. Έχει πτυχίο Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων (Σχολή Διοίκησης και Οικονομίας, ΤΕΙ Αθηνών) και μεταπτυχιακό Οργανωτικής και Οικονομικής Ψυχολογίας (Τμήμα Ψυχολογίας, Πάντειο).
Είναι αυτοδίδακτος μουσικός (ακορντεόν) και εργάζεται επαγγελματικά από το 1990 σε πολλούς και διάφορους χώρους εντός και εκτός Ελλάδας. Έχει παίξει με πολλούς μουσικούς και συγκροτήματα στο χώρο του ρεμπέτικου, λαϊκού και παραδοσιακού τραγουδιού με ποιο γνωστά ονόματα: Ιορδάνης Τσομίδης, Ρεπάνης, Μπέμπα Μπλανς, Κατερίνα Σκορδαλάκη, El Meya (Αλγερία) Έχει συμμετοχή ως μουσικός και τραγουδιστής στο cd «15 Αδέσποτα Ρεμπέτικα» και ως μουσικός σε cd των: Μανώλη Αγγελάκη, Νικολέτα Αναστασίου, Νίκου Ζουρνή καθώς και σε διάφορες ανεξάρτητες παραγωγές.
Επίσης, δουλεύει ως μουσικός από το 1996, με διάφορες θεατρικές ομάδες και σε διάφορες παραστάσεις σε Ελλάδα και εξωτερικό. Ομάδες όπως: Όμμα Στούντιο, Θέατρο του παπουτσιού πάνω στο δέντρο, Modus Viventi, English Theater club, Cirko Cacivache, Inventis, Pasoumi Team, Bijoux de Kant,MAERZ BUEHNE, Dourgouti Island Hotel Project. Έχει συμμετοχή στην τηλεόραση στο σήριαλ «Σ’ αγαπώ Μ’ αγαπάς» και στον κινηματογράφο στις ταινίες «Μια υπέροχη μέρα», «Γαμήλια νάρκη», "Φαντασια" (σε μικρό ρόλο), "Πίσω απο τις θυμωνιές", "Greek salad" (Γαλλική ταινία), "Μιας πεντάρας νειάτα-Τα νεοκλασσικά" "Greek wedding 3"
Γράφει δικά του τραγούδια, στίχους και μουσική, και τα τραγουδάει με συγκροτήματα σε διάφορους χώρους από το 1988.
Κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο του cd με τίτλο "Μουσικές φωτογραφίες και ιστορίες μουσικές" Ιούλιος 2022, Μια συλλογή τραγουδιών με ηχογραφήσεις από το 2013 μέχρι και το 2022.
